Sterkworks is a middle-aged ex-Mormon living in Utah. As a single lesbian mother, with an all Mormon family, she delights in all of the oddities that surround her. Sterkworks loves all things history, photography, marketing, SEO, SEM, and is a wanna-be nerd. Sterkworks works and plays in the center of the Universe, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sterkworks believes in being honest, true, chaste (within reason), benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all women; indeed, she may say that she follows the admonition of Paul-She believes all things, hopes all things, has endured many things, and hopes to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, she seeks after these things.

My family, all Mormon except my daughter and me, whom I refer to often, consists of:

• Daughter - the reason I live, born in 1995, promises me she won’t be an evil teen
• Mom - the celestial kingdom was meant for this woman
• Dad - has written a book that actually lists the date that Jesus will return to the earth
• Aunt J - my mother’s retarded sister who has been living with my parents since my grandmother died in 1995
• Sister - always there for me; has weenie gag-a-phobia
• Fishbone - brother-in-law; regrets sister’s weenie gag-a-phobia
• Swimming Pool Brother - travels a lot for work, gets BIG commissions and lets us all use his new pool
• Homophobe Brother - stay at home dad; wife is Controller of a large bank
• Rich Brother - takes his tithing check each year directly to the church office building because he got sick of the ward clerk teasing him about how much money he makes.

• Piper, the cat whose home in which daughter and I are allowed to live.
